Mutual visa-exemption countries
If participants are from countries that have signed a mutual visa exemption agreement with China, and their stay for the conference does not exceed the period specified in the agreement (usually 30 days), they may enter China directly without applying for a visa. Unilateral visa-exemption countries
Holders of ordinary passports from the following countries who come to China for short-term stays (no more than 30 days, with entry purposes limited to business, tourism, visiting relatives and friends, exchange visits, etc.) can enjoy the visa-free policy: France, Germany, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Sweden, the Republic of Korea, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Kuwait, Bahrain, Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Peru, Uruguay, Ireland, Hungary, Austria, Belgium, Luxembourg, Poland, Portugal, Greece, Cyprus, Slovenia, Slovakia, Norway, Finland, Denmark, Iceland, Andorra, Monaco, Liechtenstein, Bulgaria, Romania, Croatia, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Malta, Estonia, Latvia and other countries. The visa-free policy for these countries is valid until December 31, 2026. The visa-free policy for Russia is valid until September 14, 2026. Brunei has an indefinite visa-free policy.
