Transportation guide to the conference venue
1.1 Inter-regional Transportation to Xi'an
1.1.1 Direct International Flights
The most convenient way for international attendees is to take a direct international flight to Xi'an Xianyang International Airport (XIY). As the largest aviation hub in Northwest China, the airport currently operates 36 international (regional) routes, connecting 30 major cities in 17 countries worldwide. For instance, China Eastern Airlines offers flights to Moscow and Istanbul, Hainan Airlines to Paris, Tianjin Airlines to London, and Loong Air to Tashkent. Participants traveling from Central Asia can also take the direct flight from Xi'an to Almaty, with a one-way flight time of approximately 4 hours and 20 minutes. After landing, attendees can enter downtown Xi'an upon completing immigration inspection and other procedures.
1.1.2 Connecting Arrivals
If there is no direct flight to Xi'an from the departure city, attendees can first fly to domestic hub cities such as Beijing, Shanghai, or Hong Kong, and then transfer to Xi'an by domestic flight or high-speed rail. For example, after arriving at Beijing Daxing International Airport or Shanghai Pudong International Airport, they can take a domestic flight to Xi'an Xianyang International Airport, with a flight duration of 2–2.5 hours. Alternatively, they can take the G826 high-speed train directly from Hong Kong West Kowloon Station to Xi'an North Station, which takes about 10 hours and 54 minutes; or take high-frequency high-speed trains from Beijing West Station or Shanghai Hongqiao Station, with the fastest journey taking around 4 hours to reach Xi'an North Station.
1.2 Local Transportation in Xi'an (From Airport/Station to Destination)
1.2.1 Departing from Xi'an Xianyang International Airport
1）Metro
The most economical and convenient option. Take Metro Line 14 (towards Heshao) from Airport West (T1/T2/T3) Station to Xi'an North Railway Station, then transfer to Metro Line 4 (towards Aerospace New City) and get off at Datang Furong Garden Station (Exit B, Southwest). Walk about 935 meters to reach the hotel. The whole journey takes approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes with a fare of around 10 yuan.
2）Airport Shuttle Bus
You can take the airport shuttle bus to the route of Bell Tower Xi'an Guest House or Xishaomen Airport Business Hotel. After arriving at the downtown stop, take a taxi to the hotel. The airport shuttle bus ride takes about 1 hour, and the subsequent taxi ride to the hotel takes about 20 minutes. The total travel time is around 1 hour and 20 minutes, with the airport shuttle bus fare being about 25 yuan and the taxi fare about 30 yuan, totaling approximately 55 yuan.
3）Taxi/Chartered Car
This option is suitable for participants with large luggage. There is a dedicated taxi stand at the airport. A taxi ride to the conference hotel takes about 50-60 minutes with a fare of around 120 yuan. If there are many people traveling together, you can book a chartered car service in advance to avoid waiting troubles when arriving late at night.
1.2.2 Departing from Xi'an North Station
1）Metro
Take Metro Line 4 (towards Aerospace New City) from Xi'an North Railway Station (North Square). After 20 stops, get off at Datang Furong Garden Station (Exit B) and walk about 700 meters to reach the hotel. Alternatively, transfer to Metro Line 3 (towards Yuhuazhai) at Dayan Pagoda Station, get off at Beichitou Station (Exit B) and walk 800 meters to the destination. The journey takes approximately 50-60 minutes with a fare of around 5 yuan.
2）Taxi
Take a taxi at the dedicated taxi waiting area or a ride-hailing car at the designated pick-up point in the North Square of Xi'an North Railway Station for a direct trip to the hotel. The ride takes about 50 minutes with a fare of roughly 100 yuan, which is suitable for participants in a hurry.
3）Bus + Walking
Take Bus No. 266 from Xi'an North Railway Station North Square to Fengcheng 8th Road Station, then transfer to Bus No. 270 and get off at the Intersection of Yanta South Road and Yannan 1st Road Station. After that, walk about 600 meters to the hotel. This route involves few transfers but takes a longer time. The total travel duration is around 1 hour and 30 minutes with a cost of less than 5 yuan.
